This was Cleveland\'s first major professional sports title in 52 years, and the first for the state of Ohio since the 1968 AFL Championship Game.
LeBron James was named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the third time in his career. He joined Michael Jordan as the only players in history to win three NBA championships, be named NBA Finals MVP three times, and win four NBA Most Valuable Player awards.
